Hujan Mulai Turun, Petani Bantul Siapkan Persemaian untuk Musim Tanam
Setelah sempat diprediksi mundur karena kemarau panjang, petani di Bantul mulai menyiapkan lahan persemaian padi. Dinas setempat juga memanfaatkan drone untuk menekan biaya pemupukan dan penyemprotan.

Musim tanam padi mulai bergerak di Kabupaten Bantul, Daerah Istimewa Yogyakarta. Awal November 2026, petani di sejumlah wilayah mulai menyiapkan lahan untuk persemaian benih padi, terutama di kawasan sawah tadah hujan yang lebih dulu mendapatkan hujan.
Sempat Diprediksi Mundur
Sebelumnya, Dinas Pertanian, Pangan, Kelautan, dan Perikanan (DKPP) Bantul memperkirakan masa tanam pertama berpotensi mundur karena kemarau yang berkepanjangan. Di beberapa lokasi, penanaman diperkirakan baru bisa dimulai pada Desember menunggu hujan benar-benar turun. Kini, dengan hujan yang mulai datang di sebagian wilayah, petani bergegas menyiapkan persemaian agar bibit siap dipindahkan ke sawah.
Drone untuk Menekan Biaya
Di tengah persiapan tersebut, DKPP Bantul juga memanfaatkan drone untuk membantu petani menekan biaya produksi. Drone dipakai untuk penyemprotan pupuk dan pestisida guna mengendalikan hama, pekerjaan yang biasanya membutuhkan banyak tenaga dan waktu.

Alongside these preparations, DKPP Bantul is also using drones to help farmers reduce production costs. The drones are used to spray fertilizer and pesticides to control pests, work that usually takes a lot of labour and time.
